Decided Against A Friendly reminder

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a server announcement or just a message that pops up to a user that has been playing 2hours + saying "remember to take a break "

 

I quite like that idea. Good for people who no-life like 6 or so hours all at once without a single break.

Possibly give them slowness and weakness and hazy vision debuffs too

Hehe nice idea, good way to show players to take a break from time to time but that stuff does't work on me and maybe other players. I just ignore it and continue my way.

Well than...that was unexpected i just think that this would be nice ,sometimes i loose track of time and than spend 3-4 hours online if a message would have been implemented i would have probably got up and turned the cooker off but now its still on and my kitchen is on fire but i'm still here placing blocks

 

If your kitchen is not on fire, you're doing it wrong.

I think that's s good idea, but most of the players will probably ignore it or take a "break" by switching to another modpack anyways.

Like announcement about u get xxx votes. Buy somehting. It's so irittating...

PS. i play on crash landing and items form reward bags are so useless 4 me now cuz i'm in end game so... i just stack votes

Better make announcement including link to NEWBIE FAQ - amount of times when i answer questions about basics of basics is too damn high,
for example - how to make a party or how reset quests book

 

It should definitely block any message on public chat with words ,,item banned" and replcae it with "type "/banneditems" to see what items are banned and why"

 

That's a better idea, but separate suggestions should be placed in separate threads.

And I fully agree with @Sandstroem, we shouldn't be telling the players what to do with their lifes, it's not really our business lol

 

As Sandstroem said, players have some responsibility for their doings as well. This server is family friendly, but it is not going to replace your mom and dad telling you this advise and that tip, and especially not going to replace your own brain to think.

That being said, Its up to everyone themselves, how they handle their playtime/reallife.
Dont think this is a feature that would enjoy view.
