The building competition sign ups will close in 11 hours from this post. This means at 10 PM GMT +1 (summer hour). After this the sign up link will be removed and people who sign up later then this will not be able to sign up anymore.
To give a small idea of the challenges. We have so far posted two challenges on Facebook. The first challenge is to create a stable and if possible, give us a horse as well. The second challenge is apparently a bit confusing. We want you to build a statue from yourself. Just your skin or one of your team members skin. The more creative the nicer it can look. Good luck.
I actually have a comment on this: As feedback so far, I would say that the competition is going well. Many people are doing amazing builds and such, the server is running smoothly, so far so good. I just have a small.. thing to note on. These 'missions' you post on facebook. I kinda wish we could have them all at once so we could plan where to do everything, cause at the moment as I see it; 1) We have to replan our build to fit the 'mission' 2) LOTS more building has to be done to incorporate some of these into our builds 3) They don't seem to be using the mods yet, which I find that they were supposed to use some of the mods and game mech. for functionality and such. Can the stable be just a little part of the building? Or must the whole building be a stable? Sorry, internet lag. I didn't meant to spam this.
The added tasks are worth an extra point.. Don't stress over them. They can be added any way any where you see fit. can't wait to see what y'all are coming up with!
The last week of the competition has started. Nearly all challenges are known and for those that didn't see them yet. We want you to make a blood magic altar tier 5 and a resonant solar panel. The last challenge will be announced soon enough to give you plenty of time to finish that as well. We wish you all the best! ... and may the odds be ever in your favour.
Why the Solar? IDK. All I know is that it was a pain in the arse to make. I did get the Tier 5 Altar now too
Pain to make? You only have to make 512 leadstone solar pannels, and craft them into one sollar pannell by surrounding a crafting-only item with 8 sollar pannels. Nothing hard . The sentence that's now hidden will certainly corrupt you experience from crafting a solar panell. Major solar panell crafting spoilers. Do not open unless crafted at least one resonant solar panell! Spoiler Actually, it's really easy with an ender quarry, infinite lava tank, lava generators and rftools tier 2 crafter.
The purpose of the solar probably was to get you into autocrafting (rohen mentiod one in the spoiler) sounds like it didn't work out well
You surely can, but we want to see the resonant solar panel, if you have more then go ahead, but we need to see the resonant solar panel for the challenge.
Well, you can have a resonant one and make an ultimate one as well. It is just one more solar panel you need to make.
