Hello, Mym Community. Today, I've been debating whether to get a DSi XL. I have my eye on one that is only £35 (€42), which is a good price in my opinion from what I've seen on eBay compared to 3DSes. I have a 3DS, but it belongs to my friend and I don't want to invest money into something that I don't own. Even then, I don't care for the 3D option and one thing that will annoying me is the fact I won't be able to play the newer games but that's not a big issue. I was told to just use an emulator, but my phone battery dies quickly with an emulator and it's easier to get a DS that's made just for playing games. ~Money's an issue too EDIT: Going to invest in getting a NEW 3DS XL Can people give their opinions below? Thanks!
I like the 3Ds, good investiment for a new 3ds as it can do everything a DSi can, aswell as have the new games
I have a DS Lite with an R4, but I wanted something a bit cleaner and bigger. I can't afford anything great unless I sell my DS Lite at a trading shop with a few games and that might get me enough for a 3DS XL?
R4s are illegal and I reccomend keeping that DSlite due to it having a built in gameboy slot, which otherwise you need a gameboy advanced SP like me to play gameboy games
I have a DSI XL and it's great to have all of the extra screen size, but the problem i have with it is that no new games are coming out for it, and soon (if not already) Nintendo will probably stop producing games for them. But if you are truly ok with that I would probly say go for it. Otherwise a 2ds might be good. It can play 3ds games and only cost a bit more than a DSI XL. Don't know about the screen size tho Also I found this, maybe it will be some help http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/2ds-or-dsi-xl.453344455/
nintendo already stopped making games for the DS (which is all the DSi can play, except for like 2 games that are DSi only for some reason)
I'm going to invest in a NEW 3DS XL instead. I don't want the Nintendo console that's being released next year.
Nintendo has said multiple times that it's a new console, not a handheld, and it's a successor to the WiiU in some form, so speculations begone!
What I gathered, is that it's a console that is portable as well as a home console but meh don't really care tbh
