Done Cannot progress past the Mystical White Petal quest in Beta tab

Part of the farming quests is that you need to progress into botania stuff via agricraft, to start unlocking the botania quests and the magical crops quests. The Quest is showing as available to be completed, but having the ccorrect seed in your inventory does not trigger the ability to complete the quest. I know someone else was mentioning having the same problem on the server yesterday, and would like to know if there is some sort of work around to fix this.

 

Its becaues when they made the quest they used creative spawned seeds... they have different data as i learned on hypo...

They detect fine or people wouldn't be able to complete the quest book.

 

but people on the server can't complete the quest book. It doesn't detect the mystical white seed.

Sadly enough there isn't anything that we can do about this issue as this has to be fixed by the modpack author.

 

Well there is one thing you could do, make a custom recipe that makes it detectable

 

I talked with the modpack creator last night and we went through trying to detect it using different types of seeds. None of them worked. He has said that this quest line works fine on single player, as well as other servers hosting this modpack, so the problem is isolated to just the MyM server. He said that the HQM quest book must have been modified somehow.

 

MYM does not change anything, they grabbed the file from HIS links, and applied it to the server.

I'll take another look at it how about that? (even though this issue was solved back when this pack was in Pre-Alpha)

 

Problem is its not just that quest its the agricraft ore seeds and all the Mystical petals[DOUBLEPOST=1473885575][/DOUBLEPOST]Also what detection did you put them on NBT Fuzzy or not?

 

maybe an older version of the book snuck in for some reason? Just a guess.

Sounds like detections to me personally, we had the same issues on Hypovolemia

 

Yeah in the curse community i have the servers listed there have no issue with this quest and that is 8 different servers/server owners.

 

Hmmm strange, might be the servers changed the NBT of the item?
