Hello all, recently I thought it was probably time for me to get Optifine for the mod so I downloaded it and put it in the Mods folder. I can change the settings up and adjust everything that optfine gives, but whenever i try to launch the game it crashes and brings me back to the MYM launcher, I downloaded the 1.7.10 Optifine for clarification. If anyone knows what i have to do, please respond! Thanks!
Hey there You might want to provide us a crash-log to allow us finding the reason of your crash You can find a guide on how to find the log here
optifine is well known to be an issue and the cause of a RIDICULOUS amount of crashes with mods, it's recommended not to use optifine
But it can be very beneficial to people with slower machines if it is able to be run, hence its popularity.
maybe, but if you're complaining that you're crashing with optifine try something else and at LEAST put your graphical settings to the lowest or not complain at all, minecraft is not the worlds most optimized game, doesn't run on the most optimized engine, and runs on one of the slowest JIT engines out there, at least try fastcraft first please people
If you can post the crash log using the method @EndorianHD linked, we might be able to determine the cause of the issue, if you wanted Optifine for the increased control.
