1.10 Modpacks

    I know this thread is a bit late being made, and MYM has had the direwolf pack for a little bit now. Is anyone else having trouble loading 1.10 packs? I am able to load 1.7.10 and 1.9 packs and get good frames when playing both but now with 1.10 it takes over 2 hours to load the pack and I am often disconnected before I can even log into the server. I've increased the allocated ram for minecraft, and I've tried closing all other applications and just having only minecraft. Has anyone found a solution to this if they are having this problem?

    You will need at least 6 GB memory on your computer and a 64 bit OS, further you need to allocate at least 4 GB memory to minecraft.

    The memory requirements from 1.7.10 to 1.10.2 doubled :(

    Well that sucks, I've maxed out the RAM on this computer. I need to build a new one to get anymore which I should probably do anyways. This computer is over 10 years old with it original OS being windows xp.

    that explains why it's not doing so well playing minecraft in the first place, it's old, it doesn't have enough ram ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    The things is I can run 1.7.10 - 1.9 packs just fine. Depending on the pack I usually get around 40 frames.

    yea my spare laptop can run 1.7.10-.1.9 but cant run 1.10.2 xD but ma pc can and i went out n brought a new pc just to play 1.10.2

    1. cool u mofo i told you not to say anything
    2. i can get it up just cant join the dang server
    2. i get into the server for a sec and can see where i am but in that time i time out everytime and am stuck till im timed out
