I was talking to JacaRoe about why we dont use Discord instead of TS3, she said that you guys have thought about it and i was thinking that because Discord is free, better than TS3 and you have a much better Role System, i am aware that your TS3 Server lease may be paid off for for future years, but was just a thought i had and thought id post it on here. -O
Imagine 4x100 channels (text&voice&voice&voice) on discord. We are usually on 100 channels on teamspeak, while one channel includes text and voice. Meaning that would be 200 on discord but on teamspeak we auto create and remove channels based on live demand hence we would need at least 3 times as many voice channels on discord. That's just not usable.
i can see what you mean and how it would be a pain to do, its just i find Teamspeak laggy (as in people mics going crazy) where as on Discord they seem fine. but its not my choice and if its that hard then i support you in what you say
Managing it from and Admin perspective could be managed in some way. Changes are not required that often, but from a user perspective, finding the proper channel in a list of 400, without categories, a way to collapse or even search
i mean, was thinking then, we could have a Discord just for our Staff members, aswell as having out Teamspeak, that would be pretty cool to see
