    I donated yesterday to tier 5 so i unlocked the mystcraft stuff.

    I started to farm some pages and got diamond ore block and spherese. I tried 3 times or so to make an age that had those things in it but nothing, is these things disabled?

    I did fully random age, panel + leather, and ended up with a nice plains single biome with loads of Natura Seqouias and a couple floading slime islands.

    Wouldn't mind setting up my home in there. How long do they last?

    Yes you can live in the myst world. But you should add your age number to the whitelist else it could happen that your world is gone.
