Ok, so, I know most mod packs have Railcraft, but does MYM have any packs with the Traincraft modpack? The one that adds actual trains instead of just railcarts and vaguely train looking motorized carts.
I would support that mod all the way. I have used that in single player before and the items in that mod pack are put together well and compliment the rest of minecraft.
I've looked into this just now and there is a modpack called "Technolution Advanced" its 1.6.4, I would put a link but I've had bad experiences with links in the past... (Its a technic launcher pack)
We usually only run servers for popular modpacks. The last popular modpack containing a trains mod was mindcrack (I believe). Regarding the minecraft versions. 1.6.4 is legacy, we are only fixing major bugs. 1.7.10 is the one receiving most support and we are still considering bringing up new packs on here. 1.10.2 is the new version with many bugs and missing features, therefor the support is limited, but we are investing most of the development time into this version, to make it more enjoyable every day. So the only possibility would be a famous 1.7.10 pack in the next few months or a 1.10.2+ pack.
Thank you for the reply to the original message. Is the 1.6.4 not a possibility or that it is not as a top priority as the 1.7.10 ones? Too bad that there is not too much hustle and bustle on traincraft, that would be very nice to play in. Maybe some other time, it may become more of an official modpack. Thank you again!
I am in the very beginning stages of creating a modpack for 1.7, and this mod has definitely caught my interest! Ill see if I can fit this one in! Who knows, one day it might be a big & popular modpack. . .
That should be a community project, and have everybody involved have a train station at their base, seems cool, no?
I agree with both amidgitinatruck and roobarb2, that would be very nice to have a gigantic hub for a railroad station, and to have little ones branching off from that. I would love to be involved with that project, once one is up to date.
