Ive always been quite big on music, I usually tend to jump around on "favorite" genres, but none the less, my current favorite is listening to Jazz while playing Minecraft, very calming and soothing, I feel like someone is going to make a bee movie joke about Jazz lol What's yours? (If you want to keep anonymous, you can use the Poll I created, if you don't, you can leave a comment or use the poll!)
Tend to listen to pretty much whatever comes on myself. Have a playlist with 9280 songs, so repeats are rare, as well as having a mix of basically everything inside. (Whoever would like the link, PM me as songs have Explicit content in them.) -V
Breakbeat / Big Beat. Been listening to this stuff since the early 90's. Stanton Warriors and Basment Jaxx are EPIC Before you kids renamed it to EDM it was called techno.
Pretty much anything that I deem to sound great, regardless of genre. I'm mainly into Metal, Rock and Drum and bass but I do appreciate Reggae from time to time, usually Ini Kamoze, UB40, Apache Indian, all that good old cheesy stuff
Rap most of the time. Biggie, 2pac, eminem. 50, dre, dogg. Todays rap music is garbage. You cant even hear what people say. Kind Regards Owen
Big on rock. Especially The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, etc Spoiler: Favorite Song
Two deep fried eyes and one charred brain[DOUBLEPOST=1488137237][/DOUBLEPOST]Viva la vida, haven't found a better song yet
Really one of my favorite remixes of a song of all time, but it's so underrated and barely watched, yet it's so well made and amazing. Original Song: -V
Since we are posting videos....Prepare for old man EDM oldie first Stanton Warriors!!! MAD BEATS! The Cliff the Head Re-Flop is better, but I cant find that version
I am refusing to participate in a poll, where my interest in classical music has to be expressed by clicking "other". :disappointed:
I'm with Sands on this, I listen to multiple genera as I don't have a single favorite and there's no option for that But, there are some great songs posted on here
Yep I do like some of todays music, but more focused towards rap and like <2008 hits, im a big fan of arctic monkeys, oasis, the killers, the fratellis, the scissor sisters, scouting for girls, etc.
I gave up on "traditional rock" in 89 when I heard Lords of Acid, its been all "Techno" since. Haven't heard any "guitar, bass drums and singer" music I would jam to in like 25 years. None of the "killer new music" makes me want to listen. Listened to some of the groups you mentioned on youtube, and nope not my kinda stuff. The rock style is just dead to my ears I guess
Well that's not bad, reminds me of Basment Jaxx, which I LOVE. I see yello was before Jaxx. I originally thought you meant Yellow Magic Orchestra, which is also good for the time it was in. As a 80's kid I listened to Black Flag, Corrosion of Conformity, agnostic front, dirty rotten imbeciles, GBH, Murphys Law, and other hardcore punk. By 87 I had a green mohawk / liberty spikes thing going on. Got out of highschool, got into the raves. I had all the club TRESSOR mixes and was dying to come see the place in person, then I heard the moved locations or something. Its not the same. Its like club 9:30 in DC. It was iconic for hardcore punk, moved locations, just not the same
They are still doing live performances even with their 72 and 65 years. I heard about them mainly due to their high fidelity recordings.
