Hello, I have constructed a mob farm that is more than 30 blocks away from where I am usually. The interior is pitch dark and consists of cobblestone with vector plates on top. I have never placed a magnum torch or other item that I know to interfere with mob spawning. This farm had been working before and producing mob drops. However, it is no longer working. I have also heard that other players are experiencing issues with mob spawning. As mob drops are very useful for a number of reasons (bones, ender pearls), I would like to have a working mob farm again. Is there a solution to this?
I thought mobs could always spawn on vector plates. The farm had been working before with vector plates, about two weeks ago.
in that post it says disabling the async lighting in the config fixes the issue, maybe toggle that off temporarily until it's resolved?
I'm having this problem also with a newly built mob spawner - same design as in previous worlds but just no mobs. any help greatly appreciated - have to power my blood altar somehow!!
