If the clutch in your car give out, you can't drive part of the car while waiting for the part, now can you? This is pretty much the same thing, the Plugin that allows us to offer you the Kits is on the fritz and we have to wait on the update.
Trust me when I say that I didn't want to disable all of the kits. I had to think of the well being of our players. We also do not need players asking for refunds because our kits deleted their currently equipped armour. In that sense, it would be our fault specifically for letting you use a bugged donor feature that we know about. I will not reenable this feature until fixed.
Sorry but this is an awful metaphor. If a key component such as the clutch gave out then the entire car wouldn't function period. However this is like driving a car without a windshield. It may be impractical for some people (the people who use the armor kit) but it would still work and get you from point A-B for everyone that doesn't care about the windshield (People that use the other kits)
Sigh. Doesn't matter if you care about the Armor kit or not, the plugin is not working, it has been disabled. No Kits for anyone until it's fixed. There, no metaphor, about as simply explained as possible.
The plugin works fine, the issue is with the armor kit deleting your current when you use it. The rest of the plugin and other 3 kits are perfectly functional.
Yes, "perfectly functional" if that function is to not work. As Aidoneus has already stated, he didn't want to disable all of the kits. And yet he had to, so indeed, that plugin must be working "fine". Now enough is enough, lets all just wait patiently for this issue to be resolved, and keep any further comments on topic, constructive, and non-argumentative.
I've been waiting for kits to be implemented since fairly early in the DW 1.10 server launch and, Yes it can be annoying to not have access to them but on the other hand it must be even more irritating for staff who have to try and implement the plugins in the first place. Especially if the plugin authors give no time frame for fixes. Best thing to do is either play on the server and wait patiently or go back to the 1.7 packs, that's what i've been doing recently as i still have a lot of unfinished work on IN5, Or try out the packs on SP as well (Did that with DW1.10 myself) Anyway shutting up now, and i might try out Beyond server again for a while too even without kits
