I've come across many people who didn't know there was an endgame items list. The rules imply that there might be a list but it sounds more like you should judge by yourself (Selling and sharing of endgame items is prohibited. (e.g. bedrock tools/armor, tome of sharing, genes/syringes)). That's why I think the threads should be linked in the rules.
I think occasionally there is a message with the link mym.li/endgame And the rules on the website say that you're not allowed to trade those.
Isn't that the way it's supposed to be? Think about just how useful a thing is going to be. If it's going to be overpowered, or require an overpowered setup to get, it's endgame.
I agree, but that is a different problem. The problem is, we do have lists of items that you are not allowed to sell, but most players just don't know. (Even players with more than 10d of playtime)
Well the thing is, nobody takes the time to memorize those lists 90% of the time people just use their own jusdgement to decide. And if someone gets paranoid then they can check it. Obviously I don't speak for everyone, but honestely I feel like many don't take it that seriously anyway, I mean when was the last time you saw someone banned for private end game item trading with someone who didn't have the requirements to make it themselves? I personally keep myself from giving endgame items to early game people but I don't need the list to do that. I suppose the market is another story but that isn't really enforced either.
The Market is woefully unenforced, and I'm quite tired of reporting every single thing. I just let it go these days.
