I apply for add something about weather manipulation? There is nothing mentioned in rules about that and I can tell there is some problem with it (entire days of constant rain). I know situation when players make rain only to iritate others by making rain to reduce solar panels power output, stop bees from work, get more mobs spawned around etc.(for example AS2, Iodine capsule is banned but still you can make rainmaker or use Blood Magic ritual and I'm not sure if using of Dissipation Charge to stop rain is allowed at all and nothing about weather manipulation in rules cause confusion for players)
Weather manipulation like most other events that impact other players fall under the griefing rule. If we add every single sort of grief the grief list alone would be multiple pages long
I tell the same to player who admits he did that(fortunate for him he dont do it anymore because i try to stop rain if there is no one against it) but he tells me "there is nothing about weather manipulation in rules so i dont know i can't do that" so thats why I wanted to add "Weather manipulation by making constant rain is not allowed/is considered as griefing" or something like this to rules just to clarify that kind of situation thats all.
Impacting an entire server of people by constantly changing the weather even when they ask you to stop definitly already falls under the "negative behaviour" rule Code: Negative behaviour (Griefing, Theft...) will not be tolerated If someone is breaking that rule please feel free to submit evidence/screenshots etc in a ticket to staff and we will deal with them We can't include everything in the rules, because the more specific the rules get, the easier it gets to find loopholes unless we put literally everything negative that anyone could ever do in the rules.
It seems disabled in my pack... but I use Lightning rods and agricraft buckets. is that an unnacceptable reason to use weather manip? not for griefing.
That's just it: Some people need sun, some people need rain. People may not be doing it with the intention of hindering others, but that's what ends up happening.
