I've tried asking this ingame but i can't seem to get a response. Let me explain. I crafted an improved windmill and have placed it waaaayyyy up at block 210 in order to create it's maximum power output of 50RF/t It's working and I have a 4block Ender IO capacitor pulling power into it and storing it. I've attempted to relay the current down to the ground using LV wire and relays however the capacitor at ground level is not pulling any power into it. the Connector on top of it shows 256/256 RF but nothing is entering the capacitor. The input node is selected on the side of the capacitor block that the connector is on. Is the windmill simply not loading when i reach the ground or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
is there a way to check the chunk peramiters...the F button i thought that was supposed to bring up the markers brings up a mod option menu
Thank you so much tipsied i appreciate your help. I've climbed to where my Windmill is with the chunk markers up. It looks like the windmill center of originination is 2 blocks into the next chunk so the entire thing is opperating within 2 chunks horizontally. Do chunks load vertically floor to ceiling?
So ultimately i DO need to invest in a chunkloader in order to make my Windmill power travel to ground level?
Yes, if you aren't actively standing in the chunk you will need a chunk loader, also ensure that your windmill is entirely in one chunk.
Shot in the dark, but I'd say the blades are probably visual fluff, try just the working parts first.
I put the chunk loader up on it and it seems to be generating some power. It seems odd though. I have 3 max sized waterwheels and a windmill but i'm only generating 130 RF/t
Alrighty, I will go ahead and close this ticket since the initial issue of the windmills not working has been figured out. Happy gaming!
