Unban dark matter pedestals on PO2 Kappa as the item what causes it to time control is disabled on there
I have one on ozone2 normal but it's just leftover from when they were craftable, it doesn't work to use tho, so it just looks pretty.
Honestly im not entirely sure why it was disabled completely. Originally the day/night cycle editing was the only part disabled (for good reason) but the other active of it that sped up nearby machines tick speed was really useful, and never caused any problems that I knew about. In my oppinion it was perfectely fine the way it was, I miss it If there was some huge problem with the machine boosting feature of it then I guess it would make sense to disable it, but I don't think "time manipulation" is a very good description
But the item what made time controlled is disabled in PO2 Kappa as its not even in the NEI, soo please unban the dark matter pedestal
It causes server stability issues. Not all items that speed up machines are banned but the way that the pedestal did it would drop server TPS pretty bad. I haven't toyed around with it for a while though. I can't see this really hasn't gotten any better.
Yes but the tick speedup needs the watch. Without the watch, the pedestal does not speed up anything.
Yes and No. Do you know exactly what the function of the Dark Matter Pedestal is? The watch is a problem but it the pedestal is another problem entirely.
Volcanite and evertide were disabled already on the pedistal back before the pedistal was banned, in guessing there was a config setting for it, not so for the watch on the pedistal though I'm guessing? I can't see how the body, soul, and life stones on the pedistal would cause issues unless it was really badly coded though. I could see the Rending gale and ignition rings being problems maybe but those don't target players so it shouldn't be. (Again unless it was coded badly.) repair talisman is disabled anyway on ozone. Ring of harvest goddess could cause problems in the same way as the watch on the pedistal I potentially. And black hole and void rings would already be disabled if they caused problems on it. Anything else I'm missing that can go on it? (There's archangels smite but that's not intended to be obtainable since it's not done)
