Can I just ask, is the any actual reason that the aroma dim HAS to be disabled? Is there any specific reason not to have BOTH the mining dim AND an overworld type farmworld for quarries etc? Like seriously, on AoE I see multiple people PER DAY mentioning about not being able to craft the mining multitool, how to get to mining world etc, it would save so much confusion on the new players part and so much effort on staff/established players part having to explain it all the time, to just keep the dimension enabled and then let people choose whether to go to aroma dim or farmworld depending on their personal preference or what specific resources they need. Also while it is true that there are sometimes certain resources that don't generate in aroma dim that do generate in the farmworld, there are also certain advantages to the mining dim that the farmworld doesn't have such as an increased global light level (the same as how it is in the nether where you can see stuff even if there isn't an actual light source to illuminate it), and hostile mobs disabled allowing for easier early game mining, so there is an argument to be made that the farmworld is not a truly valid replacement for the aroma dim in the first place.
It was based off the lack of resources in the Mining world, when we had it previously operational in other mod packs that featured it the stream of comments about its short comings was long and consistent. While the farmworld doesn't have eternal day and has mobs it also allows us to maintain uniformity among the servers, and is easily reset with our existing setups. It is also available from the first time you login from spawn, no need to make a multi tool at all. This in theory decreases the amount of diggy diggy hole that happens in the overworld gathering materials to build the tool.
Again my point being that having the farmworld is not a reason to disable the aroma dim, I've yet to hear any reason that both couldn't co-exist, also if the aroma dim isn't "easily reset [with existing setups]" or whatever then I would suggest that could actually work in its favour, have a quarrying world that doesn't actually reset automatically each month but rather only when by request when it is quarried into oblivion, that way people could use it as a better location to spawn withers as they could build a grinder there and not have to worry about having to take it down and then rebuild itt at the end of the month.
You are talking about gigabytes of disk space. Especially when we have world like that pre-generated.
