What will happen to my tier?

With the new MYM shop rolling out soon (hyped!), I’m sure you all are wondering “what will happen to my tier that I already bought?”

To clarify, if you have purchased a tier already, then nothing changes (nice!). You will essentially be unaffected

So what does this mean? Although your tier will no longer be sold in our shops, you can still enjoy your tier and perks on both old and new servers as the tiers will be rolling over.

The new system will affect those who currently do NOT have a tier and new players. So rest assured, your tier was well worth the purchase

Hope we will have incentives to get new tiers, tho i am not rich enough to convinced my brain to give money for free But i like to support things i like

 

So, just to absolutely clarify, any and all new servers (until the heat death of mym) we will be given the vip upgrades we originally purchased?

 

The new shop and system is looking pretty promising, I’m quite excited for it! I really like the whole community aspect to it. I’m with you on that, I love supporting what I love

The new patreon tiers are looking pretty good! I may even consider hosting a server all I know is, I can’t wait to see the final product of the new shop.

 

Last thing, I was wondering about duplicate perks. For instance, New Tier will have 'reservation slot', does the 'reservation slot' from the old tier remains or moved to the new tier thing.

 

All your current perks from your tier will remain the same. Many of these perks will also be offered in the new system for new players and players without a tier to purchase at a server level.

 

Whenever someone asks why they can’t buy the old ranks anymore, I am going to refer to this time as “the eula attack of 2017” in my explanation.

-Side note, what about the little + by your name ingame if you bought a tier, I assume that stays too?

Hmm I actually didnt ask specifically about this so I can’t confirm anything in this regard. However, it is cosmetic so in theory, it shouldn’t be a problem. Not to mention, everything is supposed to be the same about the tiers. Though we will have to wait for official word on what will happen to it.

They shud rename the old tiers to something else so new players don't get confused

 

I think the old tiers will be "gone" visually, only the perks will remain so they won't get confused since old tiers won't be able to be found

 

That is true it could then be cosmetic or like a name color that's not in use by the staff or well i dont know

Orange name would be cool. Doesnt seem to be in use by staff, neither by patron ranks.

 

I would love to see some kind of super exclusive cosmetic given only to old tiers and unobtainable with new tiers.

 

That would definitely be awesome, sort of like a legacy cosmetic

 

Maybe give everyone who had the tiers before the Eula Attack of 2017 would get a "Noble -" prefix before their playtime-based rank? It would be make sense, as nobles were descendants of knights, who were descendants of the first army the courtry has had.

Or if you were to go with something less feudal, the other options might be: "Elder -"(prefix), "- of Apocalypse" (affix), "- from the past"(affix) or "Anarchist -" (prefix). Or maybe even something else.

 

I would be fine with a simple title, a custom login message with custom colors would be awesome.
Heck even a little ! At the end of our usernames would be cool.
