But we are quite a few to play on node 1

I mean i understand for 2 & 3 but on AOE1 we can be up to 10-12 to play

Please don't delete/reset/downscale the node 1 server
If it will be deleted than send me the whole world

 

so dos this mean theres no point in playing on aoe no more coz ur hard reseting node 1,2,3 couldnt it just be the server that has the most ppl on stay n get rid the other two

Wouldn't it make more sense to close the 3 less active nodes? I know yall usually do it in order of existance but node 1 frequently has 4-8 active people even lately while the other 3 ive seen 1-3 most times of the day.

 

The hard numbers don't support having a bunch of older nodes hanging around. Couple this with the problems that were encountered during the fist launch of AoE it makes more sense to start fresh on one node rather than cobble together the broken pieces of the others. While each player may feel strongly about their own node in the end we had to make a decision based on the community as a whole. I say this as someone who's losing a progressed base on Node 1.

While it is painful to lose the work we put in, it is for the better to make room for newer shinier packs.

 

Mhm.. well there goes the rest of the minecraft fun for my vacation. Might show back up for the next server launch...

i just want to make sure i understood it correctly: the current nodes will be replaced by 1 single new node with a fresh world?
in that case, will the previous world problems like missing meteorites in farmworld, or the resetting space stations be fixed in the new node?
i got stuck due to several problems in my previous attempt on node 3, and a hard reset might be a good chance to re-attempt the pack

 

They don't generate in the farm world

And viking burial for the aoe nodes

BTW hows the space station issue did it ever get fixed or are we still in the dark?

 

On another note, will we get a FTB Revelation server? or are you guys waiting for FTB Continuum to be made and launch a server for that instead? or maybe both? Because I've been looking to get back into modded minecraft since SF3 and MYM is my go to network for modded mc.
