Every time i go to the nether it always spawns me on the bedrock layer so now i cant go get quartz or anything because of that. I don't know if its just my computer or something. Any help?
When this happens it's simple to avoid it - follow these direction > Build nether portal (uh oh, on top of the nether) > /home > locate your portal > Find a new spot for your portal > Re-build the old portal in a different location > Shouldn't spawn on top of nether > Cookies and happiness for everyone. /| It's not just you, it happens to all of us, because most of the portals make you spawn on top of them, and when the Portal is conflicting with Netherrack on top of you, it insteads tp's you to the top of the nether to avoid you from suffocating.
So are you basically saying just take down the old portal and re-build it somewhere else? Sorry, I have a simple brain.
Yup, it seems to fix the issue for some reason, there are x2 nether portals for public use outside of B2 spawn. > Right next to my base. /spawn > Go forward until at the edge of spawn, and there should be x2 portals, maybe even x3.
That's really cool. I have the obsidian, but haven't been in a big hurry to go. Very cool to know that there are public portals available. Thanks for that info.
