With the recent influx of members joining the community, I have noticed a hefty amount of newer players rage-quitting due to the lack of knowledge that only the stronger player-base knows about. Perhaps we could have a /info command to give light on how players could redeem claimblocks, learn about how the 3x3 chunk tick works, etc. Thanks! -Ryan
I understand that, but maybe a command FAQ/INFO command would also be helpful to the newer players. I'm sure that more players would read a version in-game compared to an online version (EX: /rules). Thanks!
What do we think about that command linking to that wiki page? Or do we have an idea of what we want to be in that info command?
The info command could just contain general summaries of some of the more important questions, and maybe on the bottom of it would be a wiki link.
Why put it in another command? Why not put something rotating in in game-chat which displays the link for the wiki page and then you don't have to type /info to find the link, its just there.
Because as shocking as it seems, not everyone pays attention to chat, or goes on the wiki. A simple info command would do that all. [doublepost=1528477191,1528475347][/doublepost] 1. The reason for an info command is just to get every player to easily find out how everything works without going on the wiki (If most players don't even pay attention to the rules, I doubt most would just go onto the wiki and read everything). Thanks! Ryan
I am just going to add a command alias to the MyMHelp plugin. It will direct you to the FAQ on the Wiki. Which gives you all the information you just described. I will clean up the wiki page to help with these questions.
