So as many of you know we recently got a new Patreon server using the Awakening modpack. But with over 250 mods installed with a lot of them being client side mods that would cause FPS lose on lower end computers I was wondering if for the people who want to play on the server with a patreon could we add the lite version of the modpack to the client. According to the modpack page on curseforge the Lite version should allow players join servers that run the full modpack. The lite version takes out the clientside mods that would cause FPS loss for lower end computers.
Its a good idea, but I think having a list of client side mods that are not needed that can be removed may be easier rather than having another pack download to maintain
i plan on becoming a patron & try out awakening in a couple of days, but i'm not sure how well my pc can handle it, so the lite version sounds quite interesting for me, especially if it's just optional client stuff that i probably won't use anyway, like shaders or music PS. i have no knowledge about what resources modded minecraft needs, would i just have to increase my ram?
