i just realised that the pig iron i received in the daily resource kit has no recipes at all in awakening, not even for blocks. i don't know if it's possible to change the kits for individual servers, but i'd suggest to replace it with some other material of similar value
pigiron used to be iron blood nad a 3rd thing bot i dont use it..... i just void it i find the metal useless
yeah, i'm sure most people don't use it. i personally find it quite useful for tools in early game, plus i like the free bacon i know it's just a minor thing, but i figured it would be better to let others know tbh, i'm not far into the pack yet, so i don't really know much about balancement, or other technical stuff. Awakening contains so many different ores, that it sometimes feels a bit owerwhelming. there are quite a lot of long time members playing the pack at the moment, maybe one of them has some good idea for a fitting, balanced material
Pig Iron has a long standing tradition of being sort of a meme metal anyway, I just threw it in there as one of the default metals we generally use, but normally you can at least use it for tools to get some sweet sweet free bacon.
I'm a little over 70% completed last time I checked. The resource kit still comes in handy but with a quarry and EMC, theres not much to it I really need anymore. I did have a few ideas though for those newer players or those who still have to mine for ores. Could either give it an EMC value of like 1 or 5, exchange it for 32 more iron or turn it into redstone. Before getting a condenser, I saw myself needing a lot of redstone for Botania as a lot of it needs redstone roots. Could be useful, not so lucha early game but in the long run could be beneficial.
that works as well nah, it's fine now. the point of this thread was to tell staff about the uselessness of pigiron in awakening, and wyndman gave it a use, so i'm good
