How many staff (currently) have put in a yes to participation?

 

Signed up and excited for the tournament. More so because I can finally get to complete Infinity! *Realises I shouldn't have said that, as no one wants this newbie on their team*

HEY YO Are we allowed to install client side mods not within the modpack, such as Journeymap, Thaumcraft Inventory Scan, or Schematica?

 

My personal opinion would be a big fat NO, the pack normal, for MYM already has Journeymap, and another which u can tick for optional install, as for the others, If you have it, and i dont, that would give u an unfair advantage over me

 

The mods are available to be downloaded and are available for use on any other MYM server, which is why i wanted to know if they can be used during the event as well. @GreyWolf11 ?

 

they may be usable on other servers, this is going to be an EVENT, not a normal modpack. An event has to be equal for everyone.... having mods that may or may not give u an advantage of other players should be a NO

 

Again, these mods are available on the internet for download and installation for anyone participating. I can hardly see how its unfair if you choose not to use them where others do

 

because U will have an advantage i dont, if i dont use them...which is why they shouldnt be allowed...Not everybody knows how to install mods into modded minecraft folders...and even if they do follow guides, still dont mean its done properly... Which comes back to my first point. Its an UNFAIR advantage...
why are u trying to debate the usage. I put in my opinion, which every opinion is valid. stop replying to my comments, or using my quotes. until a staff member has replied
