Due to circumstances, Spelosty will be dropping out, HanoverFist’s new teammate will be @luchacho

 

Some Rules questions:

1. What is the exact date/time we are planning for the competition world to be live and loaded?
2. Will the current set of server provided commands from Infinity Normal be available (sethome, tpa, etc.)
3. Are we responsible for spreading ourselves out or will be started spread?
3.1 Any specific rules for the tournament about giving space to other players / bases /etc?
3.2 Do we need to worry about claims for the contest, if so how many should we expect?
4. What radius will we keep loaded around us while we are playing? (I know on some servers, we only load some given Y offset up and down, not the whole chunk. I heard a rumor that chunks next to the one we are standing in run slower than the one we are in, etc.)
5. What happens or when do we call it if nobody finishes?
6. Are we allowed to quarry in the nether or just farmworld?
7. Should we expect a reset during the competition of the farmworld or nether or will they likely be valid the whole time?
8. What world border should we expect?
9. Any rules / limitations on looting villages, dungeons, fortresses, etc.?
10. Any mobs blocked or limited from spawners? Passives? No-despawns?

1. March 10th Noon EST
2. All non-donor commands will be allowed for use (1 sethome, no god, no fly, no kits, no feed) use of any of those without directly messaging me with the timestamp of use will result in disqualification
3. 1:Not sure what you mean here 2: You are certainly welcome to create claims, however claimblocks will not be given out.
4. Exactly the same as you would on all of our 1.7 servers, and with the addition of 1 MFRE chunkloader per team (Use of Gold/Iron block chunkloaders will not be allowed)
5. We go till someone claims victory
6. Farmworlds are simply worlds that reset (mym.li/afr) not specifically the farmworld. But yes, you may quarry the nether.
7. Will depend on if its needed or not.

There will not be rules on looting villages, nor any mobs blocked (Unless we encounter an issue with one crashing the server, that would have to be removed)

On 3.1, I was wondering if there was anything we can do to prevent spying or if its honor system or if we should expect open spying.

On 4, I have no idea how it normally is on 1.7.10 servers for what loads (or for 1.12, for that matter). I just know I was surprised recently in Stoneblock when my items down by bedrock did not load with my main room. I was just going to pre-plan the base design to not accidentally leave bits unloaded.

One MFR Chunkloader sounds cool! I assume its hours then count as a third persons hours?

 

The current plan is to actually remove that part, since it will be easier to track and it will remain even as each team has the same resource (The 1 chunk loader) and it will be running continuously

 

Sad my Potato End PC cant handle Infinity at more than 15 FPS - add machines to make solars and it will be max 5.


Maybe next edition on lite pack? For example - Tier 6 Blood Altar with fully filled Eldrith Blood Orb on Agrarian Skies 2?

If you signed up on the Google fourm already, then your best bet is to join the discord and ping grey there asking if it's too late, event just started though. I think 2 other players also signed up late
