Horizons+ (ideas)

OMG, on the ATLauncher there is a pack called Modsauce. Its everything that is mentioned here plus more. There is no rotorycraft so performance is great. its a 1.7.10 pack and I can see it replacing Horizons. Its missing some of the other 'fun' mods from horizons but being able to play on 1.7.10 with all the mods it has would be great. it has been worked on for about 3 months or so. The HermitCraft players have been making it. Since its been in development for soooo long its pretty stable( I have yet to see a crash on a server) I would really like a server like MyM to make one since I know that it would be around for a while

You should replace Big Reactors with ReactorCraft (or use both) - the mod is absolutely incredible and wonderfully complex.

 

Any words on a 1.7.10 pack like Modsauce in the works?

 

What about Twilight Forest? it would be a great mod for Horizons

 

its a nice mod but it adds a lot of lag unless its pre generated.

 

I wanted to just throw out a mod... Food Plus for horizons+. With all the great mods I thought this would compliment the server.

 

it has pams already which is a better food mods then food plus

 

I just don't like pam's.

Spice of Life is the terrible one, not Pam's. At least Pam's is optional and doesn't force you to eat 8 different types of food or suffer horrible penalties.

The trees look a ton better too. The Food Plus trees are ugly

Id say OpenBlocks Big Reactors Thermal Expansion Extrautils Chisel MFR because they are popular and good mods that i bet many people would want to see

From my understanding Horizons is ment to be a magical mod pack not a tech mod pack

 

Yeah, but there are already a few tech mods there, so Horizons would be a magic mod, and Horizons+ could be for those who would like a combination of the both

 

Thermal and Chisel are already there,
I made the mistake of suggesting these when they were already added

+ I disagree with the rest, considering Horizons+ is just an update, not a complete revamp.
Horizons should continue to carry on being Magic.

 

Oh, I just recently checked the mod list of this mod pack, and it is... great! It is like a Yogscast complete lite modpack, which means it propably has much less lag, and it still has the best mods, I reckon this is a modpack many people would like. However some people might be a bit negative to this, as it doesnt have quite a few of the magic mods (ars magica, thaumcraft etc)
