[outdated] 1.7.10 Test Server Open (BevoTechPack)

    hey,

    we now have a 1.7.10 bevo tech pack open to test the new stuff and get started with 1.7.

    We are useing the Bevo Tech Pack from the ATLauncher as it is already a stable modpack.

    You can connect to bevo.mineyourmind.net if you want to test the new features from the mods. Make sure to enable all extra mods and use the "FULL" version.

    How do i join that Tybak channel ppl are talking on? It's kinda lonely here

    Oh, now I understand what do you mean. It's there if you enable EiraIRC and the modpack maker made this channel to the default one. I think you have to press tab with closed or open chat to switch from the minecraft chat to the IRC.

    This is a nice break from AS, and can i just say, there is so many mods going on that I'm having trouble knowing what to do first; i recommend you guys to at least try it out.

    I'll definetely do that as soon as possible, but unfortunately there is a maths exam to be done first...

    Great to see MyM is keeping up with the packs. Looking forward to play on it since i did some playing on bevo before :D

    This'll be my home pack soon I think.

    Any idea how long for voting rewards to become functional for Bevo? No rush, though. I don't expect to be raided or anything just yet, lol.

    For everyone who has played on the server so far, I was wondering what your opinion is of the hostile mob spawns wearing Mekanism armor.

    They seem to be extremely common and the weakest ones seem to hit for around 12 damage or so, which is easily enough to one-shot somebody. A couple hits is enough to bring down somebody in full iron. These mobs also seem to do around 10 durability worth of damage to armor each hit rather than the usual 1.

    Thoughts? Does it add a good challenge to gameplay or is it too much?

    Edit: Same goes with spice of life, but that one is self-explanatory.

    I personally believe that is too much of a challenge, considering a newbie could run into these quite a number of times early on.
    but I guess they were intended to make the pack a little more challenging, so I'm completely 50/50.

    Like i said, i kinda like the those Mobs, even if you dont wear armor, they aren't that difficult if you dont get hit :D

    And i recommend you guys, as soon as you have a division sigil, go get a Healing Axe, then u wont have any problems with spice of life, since it regens hunger :)
