Crashed on starting crash landing modpack via MYM launcher

tried method

1. Uninstall and reinstall minecraft(including start the Minecraft original launcher version 1.14 and 1.6.4 ) , mym launcher(download from official website), and all the modpack folder (incluing mym and curse )
1.5 Update, force update the modpack

2. Uninstall and reinstall all java, runtime environment

3. Update to the latest driver of Nvidia (Now version: 460.64)

4. Update to latest JAVA (Now version: 1.8.0_212 / x86_64 ) My PC is running X64
4.5 Ensure only one JVM (the 1.8.0_212 / x86_64 ) run on my pc

5. Following some method posted in forum like Done - Game Won't Open | MineYourMind Community

6. Try to use the default JVM argument of the MYM launcher

7. Delete all default JVM argument of the MYM launcher

8. Set the min/max ram to 2048 /4096 , PermGen remain 256


Important Hints (Maybe): I can start/play other mod pack (sky factory 3/direwolf20) normally,and i can play crash landing with twitch (FTB) and join mutliplayer


Any info will be helpful

Did you try deleting the folder entirely and re-downloading it through our launcher?

I'm just double checking as you said you uninstalled, which could be equivalent of a force update which doesn't remove everything

As outlined above, this happens when Java cannot load the mincraft jar. Could you try using another launcher like the Twitch launcher?

 

Yes, the twitch launcher works fine,I can play with it but it seems something missing that i cant see other players skins , and myself too.
One of my friend using mym launcher can see all the other player skins BTW (including mine).
(My friend JAVA version 1.8.0201)

 

On 1.6.4 skins were obtained by an API that mojang depreciated a while ago. On our launcher we have it configured to get skins from the new API to fix this.

 

I see, so is that a way to fix the API problem on twitch, or the JAVA problem on MYM launcher? I really hope to play minecraft using the amazing mym launcher XD

 

The fixes have been outlined, and if they didn't work you might have missed a step along the line. You could try a full reinstall of the MyM launcher to be certain. Just delete the .mineyourmind folder in your AppData, delete the exe you downloaded and redownload it from the website

Thanks for your help, I already uninstall and delete the %appdata% mym or minecraft folder and reinstall
for more than 6 times. And downloaded the new latest mym exe from the official website.

You could try using this mod on the twitch launcher (its the mod we use to fix skins).
