On atb there is a block called analyzer which has anal in the word so half the word gets censored which confuses some players. The much larger issue that arises how ever is when players are explaining witchery they'll say something with ... use an altar.... With our system it registered anal with the seperated "an" and "al"tar which causes a lot of confusion especially with witchery being one of, if not the most popular mod in the modpack. This is a more ease of life for players as the staff can see what was said.
I mean, that's true, but that word contains "cunt" so you can't actually say "Scunthorpe" on the server. Yes. Really.
It does not give a message it puts the stars (*) in instead so it will say "Can I have help with my ****yzer?" Or "Does anyone have ****tar I can use?" Instead of "Can I have help with my analyzer" or "Does anyone have an altar I can use?" It deletes the space and combines the words which can confuse players that don't know the system does that.
I found it now and it's the same filter as on 1.7 but for some reason it doesn't work the same on bteam.
