Decided Against Remove crap from the swear filter

As the title says, remove the word "crap" from the swear filter. Theres absolutely no reason that such a word should be considered a swear. It's completely harmless to say crap.

 

This is unfortunately impossible as this is obviously a Christian server. On a related note, this swear filter is funny, 'specially considering the Scunthorpe problem and the word "tit". That was fixed a while ago tho.

I fixed that was hilarious that it went unreported for like 3 years. This network also has no affiliation with the Christian faith, we simple like to keep chat as clean as possible so players of all ages feel comfortable playing here

 

Can you remove the word “lag” from the filter and replace the command with /lag while you're at it xD

 

Simple answer: No
Long answer: That's there because that server has a history of people spamming the word "lag" for no reason when it's usually network lag, and not server lag.

 

for lag just do / as invalid command. The server will respond as soon as it arrives (your ping) and processes it (server tps). You can also use /ping to know your ping to the server or /tps for server tps

 

Yeah ik, I’m saying that saying the word “lag” in chat replaces your whole message with said lag command, and I suggested they replace it with /lag so we can use the word in chat. Either way, Column decided against that.

 

/lag is already a command. The reason lag is replaced with the command is because people spam it.

 

I only find the anti-lag censor annoying when it stops me from saying things like "How much lag would X produce?" or "I'm trying to keep my base lag free"

I just noticed that "lag" isn't censored in SF4, and the anti-swear plugin works fine.

 

Yeah, that's why I wanted it to be changed on B-team. But again, admin already said no

My response was intended to be the explanation, sorry it wasn't clearer. No, we are not removing it because we feel the need to set the precedent that ALL ages are welcome to play on our network. Sorry for the confusion

 

Could you remove "Hard On" though? Yes, I didn't even know it was one till I typed "What's hard on this modpack" today.

 

The word “Orgy” is also not banned. (At least on b team)
