Done Mob Spawn Rate

    Hi, recently I am completely stuck in stage 1 because I can't find any abyssal craft zombies to get their flesh. Every dark biome I went to there were literally no hostile mobs, only passive animals
    After killing all the passive animals and then coming back to the area after 2-3 minutes so that mobs can spawn, passive mobs spawned instead, I opened the debug screen to see the total number of entities in the area, after I killed 1 passive mob, the total did not change
    I have heard that due to MYM mob limiting system, hostile mobs rarely spawn.
    This problem also extends to all dimensions including the hunting dimension. I found only 5 mobs within a 1000 block radius from the portal. What possible solutions are to this issue?

    There's no great fix to this issue, and it is a common problem that SevTech has faced since it's delivery to a multiplayer platform. The mobs are still painfully low due to the interaction of how the mobs are unlocked with stages, sevtech itself and sponge they seem to make a concert of madness. While we limit the over all number of mobs that can spawn in surrounding loaded chunks that limit is never actually hit there is something deeper going on with the interactions. You'll notice we even removed the visual salmon and fish swimming around in the water, as they did actually count against the mob cap making it a very peaceful and boring place to play! All doom and gloom aside there are mobspawners in the world that spawn both the Shadow gem dropping mobs, and much more commonly there are entire buildings that have multiple spawners that will drop the flesh required.
