Accepted Server Request: Pixelmon!

Technic Regular is long gone and to old to up date i was looking and that would be well over 300 mods just to update it all

 

I haven't read through all the history, so I don't know if anyone else has suggested this, but perhaps creating a custom modpack revolving around Pokemon? Perhaps integrating it with technology and certain other things? I could totally see a modpack centered around Pixelmon with tech progression bases and such! While this would also delay a server release, it would give something more for players to grab onto. Perhaps a small set of tech mods that would allow you to gain access to certain machines, like the healer or the cloning setup (For obtaining MewTwo, naturally!) I personally have a little knowledge, as I used to be a part of an older Pixelmon-centric server with a fairly active and decent sized community. The owner had their own modpack with Pixelmon being the focus, whilst adding other things such as Natura. It's entirely doable!

 

And now that I'm thinking about it, I could see into constructing a modlist and possibly building a basic pack w/o the optimizations and stuff just to see what works. Hell, I actually could tinker with some stuff myself, but this would have to be confirmed with other staff to be worth my time lol

 

Well, what if there was a modpack already out there? I've seen two as of late, one that's definitely still being worked on (From a reputable author, no less) that may be able to work?
