Done Useless Extra Life Rewards

I have been going through the quests for Forever Stranded, and some of the rewards are half-hearts or full extra life hearts. However, since the server doesn't take "Hardcore Lives", these hearts are entirely pointless and the fact that these much needed awards are completely useless is a disappointment, especially since starting players are really weak with only starting with 3 hearts. Can we make so these extra lives from the mod "Better Questing" are able to be used?

 

The reason the hearts arn't usuable is because hardcore lives isn't enabled meaning when you die you don't loose a life so you can die as many times as you want where as with hardcore lives enabled if you run out of lives it's game over and you get the joy of starting over from scratch

 

Well, in that case, why not give the player to use these lives as extra hearts? It's still very difficult to go around with a lot of your original health missing.

 

So what I'm understanding is you want Hardcore Lives to be turned on there's a reason there turned off cause not everyone wants it

 

Nope, he want the hard core hearts become the tough as nails health bonuses. Iirc you start with 3 hearts and get more as you progress through pack.
FS have tinkers right? How bout trading few hardore hearts for tinkers hearth canisters?
3 for red 5 for yellow and 7 for green

 

I think a 3->1 ratio would be better...

3 Hardcore Questing Hearts for one Red Heart Canister
3 Red Heart Canisters for one Yellow Heart Canister
3 Yellow Heart Canisters for one Green Heart Canister

@deepcage I don't think I've logged into discord in a while. Army has been keeping me busy. Hell I don't think I've logged into minecraft in almost two, three months? Although that new patron server is looking mighty inviting.

 

Turning on Hardcore Questing is not an option at this time. It doesn't seem that this pack has heart canisters and I do not believe that it is a good idea to exchange them for the lifeblood crystals that fill in the hearts as that is part of progression. Do you have any other ideas on how these hearts can be of use?

 

How about trading them for something as trivial as healing potions?
