We need a hard core modded pvp server that resets monthly or bi-weekly with a leaderboard showcasing the toughest on said server. No commitment to build crazy bases, some minor mods to make it more interesting. like witchery or something else for the more cunning players. Once you die on said server your dead, and no return till reset, naturally protected spawn with a wide range rtp exit.
Oh it's ok it would not be a requirement for you to play on it. Though I'm sorry you dislike people sharing their ideas, and feel the need to post this. Honestly the server would be for folks who enjoy pvp and challenging them selves.
1. There's a special sub forum for such threads - Modpack Suggestions 2. Please explain exactly why we need this server for? 3. Do you asked people they need that? Why not make a pool? 4. Do you asked staff there's a room for new server? 5. What mods shall be included in CUSTOM MyM PvP pack or you want to suggest some 3rd party pvp pack instead? I am not disliking sharing ideas, i don't like, not rethinking the idea of what is needed to make it, and whether it is what other players want, who are used to non-pvp which is 99.9% on all servers. How do you want to resolve time zone differences for players? Are you sure hardcore needed? If someone dies early, do you think they will have a good time and attend a soothing event? Is staff needed online? There are so many questions, but you haven't answered any of them or encouraged me in any way, the only person who has so far replied to this thread. At least add the pool to thread - its easiest way to get the opinion of others.
PVP is a tricky thing to do right on a minecraft network. Right now we do have a PVP world set up on our vanilla server, so you can go have fun and pvp to your hearts content on there. However the vast majority of our players are not here to PVP, they are hear to advance through modded minecraft, and build. I really don't see a modded PVP server picking up many users, especially a hard-core one with mods like witchery which will just be used to grief players who didn't, or couldn't put the time in to advance the pack.
