Modpack Name: The Lost EraModpack Description: Copied from curse: "The Lost Era focuses on providing the full modded Minecraft experience without hundreds of hours spent in research and the information overload that comes with it. Specifically, it is tailored to guide players who wish to learn about mods and their features on the go, bit-by-bit, enabling players to set out their own gameplay experience. It is a one-size-fits-all kitchen sink but with structured gameplay around Tech, Magic and anything in between to choose from, so regardless of personal taste there is something for everyone. While being packed full of content, its low system requirements ensures no one is left out."Minecraft Version: 1.7Modpack URL: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/the-lost-era-modpackWhy Host the Modpack?: To be honest, I dont know what to say here. It's 1.7 kitchen sink with over 3k quests. Feels like a GT:New Horizons but without Greg grind. Alike to GTNH pack was in long creation process so there is a little bugs in it Completing the pack will be a challenge but some people like challenges but others will be scared by sheer amount of quests. Some people never played 1.7 so this is good opportunity to show them ye'olde times.Any Potential Modpack Issues?: Some magic mods bypassing claims? Or problems with world gen and Twilight Forest? I don know how Waystones mod works on multi too. It's 1.7 pack so most of problems are well known and fixable.Should the Modpack be Patron Only?: No
It was added recently after someone suggested allowing everyone to comment on modpack suggestion posts.
+1 Decent looking quest book, not just “craft this, look it up in the manual” +1 Updated two days ago. +1 They devs run their own server, which gives us half a hope they know better than Some:tm: 1.7.10 pack devs that abandoned their stuff in 2018.
Even I might love to get D&D with a well thought out 1.7 10 pack. Remember, I cut my Minecraft teeth in 1.7 and the 1.7.10 packs are so overdone. Its time to replace Crash with a new pack.
If we vote for removing the pack i would vote for one of 1.10 ones SF3 or Forever Stranded both have very similiar packs on MyM( SF4 and CL) and 1.10 version of modded minecraft were... kinda bad imo
For now, I think we are done with 1.7.10 modpacks. Minecraft 1.7.10 is old now and is about 9 years old I believe. I don't believe it is in our best interest to go for this version of modpack anymore. Unless I hear some massive support or heavy interest, I don't think this is in the cards. Sorry.
