Plugin Update Info

Over the next week or so we will be migrating any servers currently running the Grief Prevention claim plugin over to the Grief Defender claim plugin. This is necessary for our move toward more modern 1.19 servers. Those of you that have used GD know it is a more robust plugin and will provide players with more flexibility in their claim management. It will also allow us to finally start moving toward the future.

However, this comes with some issues:

• All claims will be lost
• Claim blocks will be lost
• Bases wont get automatically reset due to no claims. (Please report abandoned bases)
• Island packs will require a complete server reset.

This will cause a bit of a mess and inconvenience for players, but it's nothing we can't work through. Don't let it cause you too much headache. Just remake your claims and carry on as best you can. Contact us if you are in desperate need of having your claim blocks replaced though. Sevtech, for instance, will likely require them to be replaced just so players can continue playing due to how claims work there.

Important Info

• This only affects some 1.12 servers.
• Revelation, DDSS, and Sevtech will be upgraded this week with, hopefully, minimal issue.
• SkyFactory 4 and Stoneblock 2 will require a FULL RESET though. So expect that within the next week or so.

In the important info you don't mention the po3 servers. Are they effected as well since they are 1.12.2?

 

PO3 and all other servers are already running Grief Defender. Thats our goto claim plugin for new servers so any new servers are already good to go.

 

Hello. This is great news. Here at SparedPumpkin inc. we enjoy planning for the fututre and back MYM 100% in this venture.

One thing my lawyers are asking about though is do we lose the claim blocks and have to "re-buy" them, or are they refunded?

If you don’t have enough claim blocks after the migration to reclaim your base make a ticket and we’ll give you enough to claim it.
