Mine your Galaxy - tier progression around the galaxy

I am thinking that one of the causes for lag and timeouts on the Galaxy server might be because players are using pumps in the nether. I would suggest making it s only the ender thermic pump can be placed in the nether and reset the nether so there is not flowing lava all over the place. This is a huge contributor to lag on servrs. Most servers I have played on in the past ban all pumps except the ender one from the nether for this very reason.[DOUBLEPOST=1414301871,1414301530][/DOUBLEPOST]It is also coming to my attention that with all the dungeons we have in the world means that there a ton of entities spawned at all times. especially in dungeons that are near player bases. I have gone through the dungeon near my base and made it so that mobs cant spawn in it. But i doubt all players have done so. I have passed by dungeons on the map that look like they have 100 or more zombies spawned in them all at once. Maybe setting up a way to clear all mobs every once in a while would help with server stability.

 

This is why we asked for a spawn in the farm world, not a RT in

 

u describe tps lag problems. we dont really have problems with tps. we time out and lag.
placing quarrys into the sea also creates a lot of tps lags as it has to update the water with every mined block.

when tps lag becomes a problem, we might ban the normal pump and make the ender one tier 3, not tier 4.

When opening the wireless access terminal. ( when not in ranged ) it crashes the game. is there a way to fix this?

just post ur crash-report and what u were doing.
we are using rv1-stable.

 

@TheHyperMagi, before you post it there, see if you can reproduce the crash on a single player world first. That way they will know if out is a bug in their code, or something to do with bukkit code and theirs.

 

i could answer that question maybe with a log.
havent gotten to test it myself yet.

 

Knoxz is there a way to disable debuff because every time i get a thaumcraft Effect Call Scorned Skin it keeps disconnecting my player from the server and telling me Internal server error :/

Hey, uh, I made a Talisman of Nourishment, which takes food points from food and stores it to feed me, and now im stuck in an Internal Server Error

This may be because it can bypass spice of life, so I guess its a broken item that shouldnt be used

 

maybe someone can help me, while the super zombie destroyed my rocket and killed me, my sync clone in my space station is not available... i have one up there but i dont get access to him

 

I had the same trouble with the sync clone not appearing but sadly the only way to fix it is to go up there and break the device its stored in and make a new one.

Is there a Whitelist? If so, may I please be added? I jumped on a minute ago and was on for about 1 minute or so and was kicked, reason unknown. It look really nice at spawn, and I would love to try it. ; )

Can we please get a Disabled/Crashes list? And can be added to by mods or admin, cause I'm sick of finding out something crashes me and having to reload the game yet again
