sooooo, now we have an awesome pack, and awesome texture patch. All thats left is the awesome server[DOUBLEPOST=1413173552,1411932362][/DOUBLEPOST]Modsauce just updated to a new version, now would be a good time to add a modsauce server

Yea dump tppi into the trash can and make modsauce happen
Tppi is low tps all day anyway

 

I still check for an announcement everyday.

 

TPPI has horrible performance and there's absolutely nothing to warrant that.

Honestly even with that number of mods there is no reason for a 1.6.4 pack to run so bad. It's at least 25% less performance than packs of similar size.

 

TPPI is still one of the best packs. It has an Amazing playtime, in monster or any other pack you can get bored in a few days and have all end game items, but in TPPI is takes at least a few weeks.
That being said, Modsauce is A LOT of fun, But it is missing IC2 and GT. Overall Modsauce is more like Attack of the B-Team replacement.
Beyond Reality is the TPPI replacement

 

hehe can approve it takes for ever to get to the state where you can say "i'm able to auto-craft everything in the game"

I dont mind IC2, but gregtech is worthless. Last time I played gregtech it was silly the amount of crafting it took to make simple items. I dont want to have to assemble widgets to assemble widgets to assemble widgets to make a widget assembler. That is what gregtech feels like to me

There comes a point where it starts to be more work than fun. Maybe if I was being paid to play, lol.

 

MyM a Bevo's Tech Pack server - it's very similiar to Beyond Reality.. Maybe try that out?

I'd still like to see a DNS tech pack server, its on at launcher
But doubt many can use it tbh, and needs a rather large server

 

Bevo is a nice pack to try out the new version mods, but its kinda lacking a ... well ... i dont see a real goal when playing it.

While you guys are waiting for new stuff, check out material energy 3 on ftb launcher, 3rd party packs. Its awesome but i fear kinda hard to make a server out of it. (Other than the usual 2-3 guys coop server)

 

no its not. Beyond Reality is a Configured master piece. Bevo's is like DW20 of ATLauncher all mods no balance

 

thats why people must use cauldron 1207, the reson they havnt updated is AM2 is no longer being worked on
