Not really, but we could report it to the TC dev, maybe he oes have an idea. Unfortunately, the line numbers in MC classes are worthless, and even then I couldn't really tell where the concurrent modification occured. However, I just got an idea how to debug this. Would you be able to reproduce the error when I tell you?

Not really sure if you can do in "on Demand"
But you might be able to force it on yourself. Thats if you dont mind completing the whole TC book.
While in Creative mode look in the Creative search for thaumonomicon. there is one that will have creative in Description.
This will complete your entire book. Causing many effects, But then its a waiting game utill you get the crash. Could be minutes or longer

Actually, is this also happening in singleplayer? or just when you're on the server?

found an easier way to get warps,
    Seems there are commands
    Commands - Thaumcraft 4 Wiki
This command sets a person's warp level.

    Layout: /thaumcraft warp <player> <add:set> <amount> <PERM:TEMP>

The first bracketed slot is where you type in the player's name. Only one name can fit in.

The next section is where you either type set or add.

Set means that you set the player's warp to that exact level.

Add means you add the amount of warp to their already existing level.

The last slot is where you type in the amount.

The maximum warp you can give a player in one command is 99.

Adding the tag PERM at the end or TEMP changes whether you change the temporary or permanent warp.

Ok, I analyzed the error from the back side (was faster than a custom CME tracer). This is definetely an error in Thaumcraft, or maybe something Cauldron changed (though I have no idea why cauldron would make this particular change). We'll have to report it, I don't think I can create a patch for this.

people are reporting this in single play and it happened on the ForgeCraft server that doesnt run cauldron.

only "temp" fix is to turn on Wuss mode if it becomes a problem( which it will when players get far in Thaumcraft

Is there any progress in solving this bug? As it is now, I would rather have warp disabled because we have to keep logging in untill the potion effect is gone.

Or maybe we can set the warp of players to a lower amount with the command Crhymez showed us? So that warp effects that cause that problem won't occur? (or doesn't that work?)

    There is this option:
    Code:
    	# Setting this to true disables Warp and similar mechanics. You wuss.
    	B:wuss_mode=false
but no clue what it exactly does

as @Crhymez mentioned before, it does disable major parts of thaumcraft which makes progression a lot easier and faster. One of these things are the warp potion effects.

I thought it only disabled warp? Does that disable other parts too?

I'm not a thaumcraft expert (never even used it), so I might have remembered/interpreted wrong.

This will turn off Warps. Making Thaumcraft less fun....lol
The mod author is calling you a "wuss" if you set to true

    Wuss
    noun, Slang.

    1. a weakling; wimp.
    2. A person regarded as weak or timid

Warp makes it so you need to pay attention to what your researching, Also i makes it so you need to manage your "dark" magic. If you pay attention to the research you will see the ones that give you warp are some of the strongest.
You can always wash your warps away. Use the soap that the mod author included.
I personally think Azanor Added warp so people just don't blindly rush through his mod

Turning off warp will remove the Eldritch tab, with the primal wand focus (destructive, can spawn tainted biomes, should probably be banned anyway), Void Metal (Actually pretty good) and probably more high end stuffs. It also disables the Eldritch Guardians and Mind Spiders, which are 'fun'.
