At the moment, the new DSU built after the update from 1.0.1 do loose its content after a while. This problem was reported by a few people and after looking into it, i see indeed dissappearing items. The whole DSU is getting from one to another moment empty. If you have further informations on this, go ahead. This is also an information to all new players, to maybe not use them, until this is getting fixed. Because if you do loose items with this bug, there will be no refund.
I see that sometimes the dsu forgets what it is storing. It does still know how much of that item it has but just doesn't display the item. Applied energistics has the same problem. Could that have anything to do with the vanishing of items??
This is a mod bug, i tried to warn people last week on modsauce. They were saying how they were about to use DSU, i told them all not to use, but they insisted it was fine. This is not the servers fault
Ofcourse it is not the servers fault. I was just trying to say that this bug could be bigger than we thought. And maybe the AE thing makes it easyer to find it's roots.
The problem is the MFR DSU, if you unload the chunk they are in... then reload the items will start to delete 1 stack at a time.
If I remember correctly, this issue was fixed in the next update of DW20, which happened close to a year ago. Never had any issues with a DSU while I still played DW20, up to 3 months after the original post in this thread was posted. Oh, and please do not necro-post Let's just honour the dead (threads)
