Done Horizons map reset?

I just wanted to see how many people would be in favor of a map reset. I believe it needs a reset because:
1: The huge layers missing around layer 20 and bedrock. This will be fixed with a map reset.
2: None (or almost none) of the Desert Novas are around anymore, and nobody wants to pay a ridiculous price to start Ars Magica.
3: There are still lots of banned items (lag causers and crashers) randomly around the map, I myself have found a few and got admins to remove them, but there are definitely more out there and they could cause problems.
4: Players are getting way to close together, and there's tons of inactive player's bases laying around since the 2 week claim removal doesn't work
5: We see no biomes from Biomes O Plenty
6: The economy is nonexistent due to the layers missing (see point 1 above) and all the ores being in plain sight and very easy to find.

Share your thoughts and reasons why the map on Horizons should/should not be reset.

 

I love this post and this idea, I'm completely all in for a map reset and would defend it by saying I'm easily one of the top three of the end-game players, and even so losing what I have to fix what is currently broken would be a fantastic improvement on the server, and make players think that things are broken and we're unable to fix them, plus all the worldgen errors.

 

I'm in favor for reset (i'll cry), but can we wait till 1.1.2? That will fix some bugs in 1.1.0.

Ars Magica flowers should be able to be grown. Or at least re-spawn.

It would remove a lot of dead claims.

 

No reset. I just got Thaumcraft almost done. I'd hate to lose it. If a reset does occur, do not reset MCMMO.

 

You shouldn't base decisions purely on yourself, base them on the server as a whole.

 

yeah reset would be for the best at this point :/ and think about it, rogue dungeons everywhere and not just on the edge of the world XD

Nah, I don't feel that any item would be recommended to be kept xD

I found one. The Rouge Dungeon is fun to play. Tons of spawners.

 

Map needs to be reset along with player data and MCMMO.

 

Reset, COMPLETELY, MCMMO, player files, you name it. COMPLETE restart.

 

Tons of us have been talking about this and we really wouldn't be opposed to one like, asap. If you'll join TS we can give our arguements for it better xD

 

I would really love a reset ASAP, I know a few of us don't really want to play on this current map until it is reset, we've been discussing it in TeamSpeak.

 

I vote no, but I know most will vote yes. If its coming there is no point in building now

 

I don't really want to build until a map reset because I'm pretty much done with the game, and anything I build will be gone soon anyway.

 

yep, since it looks as if we will re-set, no reason to mine or build. A reset sooner than later would be better

 

If we keep mcmmo levels, then I'm for the reset.

 

That would be so incredibly stupid. Suck it up and wipe everything.
