Someone has set loose a magical thaumcraft fire in the nether that can no longer be stopped. It'd be appreciated if an admin/mod could help.
On second thought, it isn't super bad. There is just a layer of snow on top of everything now. It could be worse[DOUBLEPOST=1420265959,1420265945][/DOUBLEPOST]No, it hasn't been solved yet
@Founder can we please get the nether reset as the fire damage is huge , most of the nether is obsidian now because of the fires mixing together
Well the founder needs to decide first but yes anything worth keeping in the nether I would move unless you want it gone forever
@BookerTheGeek most of it is fixed there's just blue and red fire left which has to be removed by hand -_-
@BookerTheGeek you can come on and help if you want but the blue and red fires can't be removed with any command on the Galaxy server. Might be able to do it with the aperf plugin but it's not installed on the server correctly so can't use the commands
Use the perditio imbued fire to revert the fire to regular fire, which you then can use //ex on. Otherwise, a rollback might be good, as the fires spread exponentionally.
Tried the peridito fire already it was just making the fire worse , nether is being reset in two days now anyway
How did the perd. fire make it worse? It's coded to revert any imbued fire to the standard minecraft fire.
I don't know , but it was making it worse there's also a reedit post saying the same when it was in the nether. Maybe it has an opposite effect when used in the nether
There is very little documentation yet for some TC/TT items, and most of the imbued fire's I've had to test myself, but I have not seen or read anything that would indicate that the nether would reverse the effect of the perditio imbued. Dw20 had the same accident with aqua imbued fire in the nether, and if memory serves me right, we got perditio imbued fire spawned in from an admin, and we managed to contain a fraction of the fire, but it had already spread far too much, leading to a rollback. This was back in 1.0.1 of DW20 though, so it was an older version of TT. I can probably test this tonight, if I can get a hold of a temp pc, as mine is still dead :/
I tested it myself the other day on my test server and the peridito fire didn't do anything to the other fires and this was in the overworld, with the same version that Galaxy has now. Either it's intended or its a bug but either way I don't see the point of the imbued fires anyway
