i know, but it's the hardest public pack the world has seen, i'm fine for the server.dat being there on the MYM launcher but on the technic launcher people might not want it shoved down their throats, also you do know that the only people who modify this pack is cbrozak and charleswcrumbly?

The first time i tried the pack. i couldn't even leave spawn. Overall the mobs don't seem to be as bad as they were. I also seen 2 blood moons in the first few minutes of playing. I like the "new" version better, it playable[DOUBLEPOST=1420553937,1420553819][/DOUBLEPOST] challenge accepted...lol
Ah yes, there is a difference between difficult and unbalanced We only added a WG region so mobs couldn't spawn near 'spawn' for that, no difficulty changes and yes, blood moons got turned down to be more rare, are you suggesting I turn them up a notch again? I wouldn't be against that.[DOUBLEPOST=1420554178][/DOUBLEPOST]To add to that: We are ALWAYS open to suggestions that would add to the difficulty of the pack. Lately we have been getting a lot of "It's not THAT hard"s and I hate it! I want it to be unanimous, "The Hardest" should be agreeable.
Agreed if there is anything out there you believe will bump the difficulty let us know And blood moons more frequent sounds awesome as well.
I haven't gotten around to play DIE yet, but do you have quests for each armour? Perhaps making you have to craft, and turn it in, before you can use it? Thus making it necessary to craft 2 sets before you can use it? That would make the long quest for Quantum/Kami/Bound/Flux-infused to be even harder
Already done also to note, there is no quantum, kami bound or flux armors here and TFC armor blows them all out of the water.
suggestion. add some more quests that give animal spawn eggs as a reward. I think most animals have been slaughtered. Previous rate of Blood Moon was kool with me. After all, I don't go outside after dark . I checked the donation page, love the concept. On payday I will donate $20 and the same the following payday. I challenge all others to donate too. Even a couple of dollars will help us and the developers and server. It's a pity you cannot add the mod or data that makes passive mobs attack you if you attack them. It is like wolf behavior only for cows, sheep etc. Hit 1 in a herd and get attacked by the herd. Might cut down on loss of wild animals too. Hahaha
Hmm, maybe add Thorns III to all armour that spawns on mobs? Btw, is DIE a pvp modpack? If so, then maybe add an item/change a recipe for a potion or similar with a buff. EG if a player kills another player, then an item will/may spawn, that can be used for a somewhat-good potion. Otherwise, extreme low chance on mob-kill by player (not fake players). That would make it worthwile to actually hunt mobs, instead of hiding from them
Heh heh, should be fine in the new update. I had to inject it in the console with forge, looks like they forgot to put it in the TFC build originally.
