Implemented Golems keep disappearing?

So I had two tallow golems with Alchemy cores, both of which have not been appearing when I've joined this has happened before and they'd randomly appear at another time but they haven't spawned in for a few days now.

 

Yeah i had the same problem, someone said to me that golems have a chance of disappearing on restart :/

 

In 1.6.4, they often despawned as entities render before the actual area, leading to them falling into the void, and dying.

Do you have mobs/entities visible on your minimap? Do you see any golems on it?

Otherwise, I suggest you just keep a golem or two extra in a net/lasso/soul phial, or make a habit of bagging your golems into nets/lassos/soul phials, to keep them safe before restarts/log outs

 

Uh, you can actually just pick up the golem directly, without using an additional holder. Whacking them with the crystal bell turns them into items, after all.

 

Didn't that have a chance of letting an upgrade dissapear?

 

I think that's only if you shift-click, which ejects all of the upgrades.

 

When u shift right clck with the bell one upgrade gets destroyed.

 

There's a chance of an upgrade getting destroyed. I think the chance is fairly high, but it's still just a chance.
