Disclaimer: This thread is a question from the "player" me and not the "Staff" me So recently i have been watching a lot of the build guild and wanting to play vanilla. But being the mod player that i am, i started think of what kind of vanilla server i would enjoy. I was thinks a server that is Economy based, McMMO, Jobs...ect. Have a mob arena and PvP arena...ect. I had an idea of Building a mall like building where you rent out a space to sell items. So my Question is, if MyM had a Vanilla server that had economy pluggins. Would you play? What plugins interest you? Comment and discuss below
I got some suggestions to this thing. 1: Make a "private" server for the persons that are willing to play vanilla, being friendly having fun togheter. No protection plugins, no other plugins (maybe prism if grief happens) totally vanilla server like the Mindcrack. Probably with an application form so you really want to play on the server not just log in. 2: Make a server that is highly based on money. You use plugin to have the money. Money can be made off jobs selling items, but to get items you have to work for them. Mine stone, fell trees. Then you can make market stalls, selling claimed plots, you buy 1 place and it get made plots and other people rent off the plots you ern money etc. Really money wise. 3: Make free server, economy is enabled some items is buyable, you get certan amount of money at start and you can work your way up or you can just play vanilla dont use plugins, building or pvping in an area, a really free server, you dont get forced into vanilla, and you dont get forced into the money thing. 4: Creative server with plots, so people can show off their favorite builds
1. I really like this idea. Having train rails in the nether ti visit each other...ect. This would be amazing if it could be pulled off. (prism needed of course) 2. This would also be really fun. Have like a starter town, where you "rent" a room in the hotel. then when you have enough money you can go claim a chunk(towny) then grow from there... making a massive city, renting plots and homes you build..... This could be awsome 3. Would bring the most players. 4. This can be a thing with 1-3. But its really not needed.
Problem with creative servers is that there are probably some players that manage to get the items from creative over to the regular server. Atleast it was that at another server i played on.
I think it would be pretty cool if it was like the mianite series that syndicate and stuff did just without fyre uk and wizards
Please. I would really love to see a server based off jobs, and economy. I think it would be a great project, and I think a lot of players would love to see this again, considering a lot of new players like to team up a lot.

We could have a "mall" where players could rent out a shop.( ikea like) Then use towny for a cash sink. As far as jobs go, Make it so players could pick x amount of jobs.... they would get paid for doing those jobs.... but charged to do things that are not there job(this is a bit extream though)
If we get a vanilla "true" vanilla i would maybe request the players to use teamspeak so if someone likes to make videos we could have like a mindcrack/buildguild thing, so all people would like know eachother and then have it so people could come on talk with eachother and have a great time.
SOB.... now i want a server like this... i hate you right now.... Im downloading Resource packs and optifine for 1.8.1 now... lol
we could maybe try to push it thru as a project, we probably wouldnt have so many players that it would need a big spot on the servers
I was thinking, we might need the following pluggins.... if avalible... just in case. - Grief prevention -Prism -essentials Also some sort of "no cheat" plugin, there are too many hacked clients out there.
Grief prev will remove the whole purpos of the true vanilla style, the whole reason with the whitelist is to not have any grief. Prism i am ok with incase it do happen that some people will steal items etc, but almost all people should be nice so they wont steal, it is ok if they take an item and then leave a sign saying they took it and that they left something else. essentials is kind of okay if we disable all commands except the ban/tempban. I dont want a vanilla server that claims it is true vanilla tough you can use /home /fly etc
I am actually excited if this could possible be a thing. If its white listed i understand not needing GP.
From what im gathering.... most here are wanting a true vanilla. Kinda like the mindcrack server If it is economy based... then towny it the best... so the economy flows If its a pure war server then Factions but have 2 races, Aggressive and passive ( seen this on another server) where if your passive you cant pvp or raid/ get raid... then agressive can with eachother
