I've watched Letsplays on this - it really looks like a lot of fun. As both a fan of Tolkien and RPGs in general, I'd be in for sure.

Perhaps there is a way to incorporate an RP server into existing worlds by making the 2nd node of a current server titled Role Play. Not a complete solution but better than nothing.

 

still need to depends on founder decision.

As Slind said, good idea. But with all new projects, there has to be someone who will put a lot of effort in this. So you cant just start a new RPG-Server. I really like this idea, because i have played on an RPG-Server before, but i also know it is lots of work and time spent into it. But Mine Your Mind is more specialised on modpacks. We do have "self-made" modpacks presented to you by Developers and Admins, for example "Mine Your Galaxy" and "Death is Expected" (D.I.E.). But unless there is nobody from the staff putting lots of work into another Server, putting it up, making Guides, and a certain wikipedia for all the RPG-Rules (because normally RPG has more strict rules) there wont be that kind of Server, even if we would like to have one.

But if you want to do one, are experienced with handling this kind of Server, there is no problem with talking to the Administrators about it. Maybe there is a way for that thing to happen.

 

C&C Has indeed talked about this very modpack, an RPG pack. Unfortunately we have put over a thousand hours into creating packs and have been shown almost no interest in what the future has for C&C so we've been working on several other projects. We have many hours into RPG modpack research and have weighed out the pros and cons and decided to pass it up. It's no written out of the books for us completely, but for now on our end we feel let down and have decided to move forward.

 

I couldn't agree more with @cbrozak we have put a ton of effort into researching RPG's and how they could be done on a multi-player market but the amount of work that this would bring compared to the amount of support the community has shown for the future of C&C it just doesn't make it a realistic think to pour our lives into. We have elected to take on smaller projects in hopes that the community would find a reason to support us, and give us a reason to continue on with these bigger more elaborate projects.
