I kind of like 8.1. I seem to be the only living being that does so...

It's not too bad once you figure out the WindowsKey + X trick.

i still find it funny how the fact that their skipping nine is because of the way (afaik don't mean to offend anyone) nine is pronounced sounds like no in german, and is spelt similarly (nien i belive) so their skipping nine due to they don't want windows NO, which i think is a good reason on the whole XD

i have no trouble what so ever with 8.1 but the idea was to make it simple and they kinda failed on that front. But thats just my opinion.

One of the leading issues with why they are skipping Win. 9 is due to the sheer amount of third-party programs still supporting windows 95 and 98.

More reasons found at: Why is it called Windows 10 not Windows 9? | ExtremeTech

No reasons to be seen regarding the pronounciation/resemblence to the germanic usage of "9"

I hate it. I also installed the technical preview it broke my computer saying the digital signature cannot be recognised and it's still broken. Windows 8.1 still the best OS ever.

Well .. Windows 10 was my solution after My (so called work)Laptop had updated from 8 to 8.1

The first weeks with 8.1 where fine... but it seemed that one of the windows 8.1 upgrades messed up things inside windows.
Eventually my laptop crashed everytime I clicked the right mouse buttom >_<.

    So I had some options

1: Windows 10 technical preview upgrade
    2: Back to windows 7
    3: Get a Mac o_O

So I chose the first option. And problem solved :).

    Best things of the upgrade:

-I can click on the right mouse buttom once again
    -No annoying interface
    -slightly faster startup
    -better PC options

however... It is still an previeuw build. Meaning that there are some bugs/glitches.

Recommended: If you are curious, or your (older) Os (like me) Is corrupt.
Not recommended: for people who have valuable items on their PC/Laptop
    - Or using the PC/laptop as an work Client

    Wait. What did I Read?

I hate it. I also installed the technical preview it broke my computer saying the digital signature cannot be recognised and it's still broken. Windows 8.1 still the best OS ever.

Comment : I disagree, Windows 7 is more stable and has an much better interface then windows 8.1
