Done Thaumonomicon bug with research

i have the knowledge but i cant learn the boots of the horizontal shield

 

If you look at the Ichor armour (Not the awakened pieces) you see that it is black.

The research for that must've somehow been lost

Try to research that again, before learning the boots of the horizontal shield.

 

But that is why I'm confused because I can still use that research. I can't even re-research it.

 

Yeah, I can't research ichor armor either.(I finally got ichor research) There isn't an option to research ichor robes, the awakened ichorium axe, xp drain, celestial gateways, and other things.

 

I can try to add and remove the needed research for you @HlgPlayer to see if it updates your book. If it does not, then I can give you a research copy for you to fill, and when done, I can give you the research.

@ShadeVahKiin I can re-apply that research to you as well, but as you got the next researches legit from the looks of it, no homework for you to fill in ^_^

One of my scrolls, (Boots of the Horizontal Shield), managed to work, but now the other one isn't but it doesnt matter cause its banned (awakened ichorium pick)

 

The awakened ichorium pickaxe is not supposed to be banned... Why do you get the impression it is?

When I was got the infused potions research completed, all of the ichor research fixed itself. I think there should be a forum where when you finish the research, you post a screenshot of you doing /iskamiunlocked to show you have all the research except the infused potions. Then the Admins could give you that last research so you can finish ichor without problems.

 

Yea, its mostly just the elemental fires causing the problem, without them anyone could finish it easier, also i cant finish black hole ring[DOUBLEPOST=1425759713,1425683511][/DOUBLEPOST]is anyone able to research the celestial gateway? its not popping up

 

Hi guys, I'm trying to research Ichor and because of the infused potions I can't. when I type /iskamiunlocked all that pops up is them. The Ichor is in my thaumictinkerers page but when I click on it to research it pops up with "you lack the required knowledge to understand this"

 

Try to get hold of any co-admin+ in-game, and your problem should be dealt with swiftly ^_^

 

Look into a fix, and reported to the mod author.

 

Admins/Co-Admins; come on.. this is a known issue and you two are playing dumb. I'm being salty now, because this has been an issue for 2-3 weeks now? I've seen 20+ people in-game with the same issue. The elemental fires are causing this issue. Just let people unlock them and ban the item. It's not the research being lost. The second I had mine manually unlocked via the command my research was fixed.

 

"abused" only person i know that did this was leo and i still hate him for that, and the other times were tests, as the first times they were used on the server, (my area never actually got rollbed back)

 

What about disabling the config for firespread? It can't eat the world if it can't spread

It sure looks like fire to me when placed in the world. Either way, the last server I was on had it disabled in a way that it couldn't spread beyond the block it was placed on, thus no world destruction. I don't know anything about configs, but I know it can be done.
