Done Does Anyone Know whats going on with Pixelmon?

It seems to have gone all quiet
There where plans for: Gyms and stuff
But everything went dead

I can assure you that we are all still here As we get gyms I am hiding them throughout the world. Do you think they are better that way or would the community prefer that they were all at spawn and easy to get to. I always thought it would be more prestigious if you actually had to go find them.[DOUBLEPOST=1426357380,1426357082][/DOUBLEPOST]I was going to work on scattering more gyms throughout the world today but maybe I should wait until I have heard from the rest of the community as to how they think they are best. Also I currently have a deal with the people on the pixelmonmod forum post every 100 replies to the post will equal getting the coordinates to 1 gym.

 

I agree with the scattering them around the world but making a search is a bit advanced, maybe you could add warps for each and info telling people how many Pokemon and what level they are so we have some idea of progression and maybe an elite 4 when you have all 8 of each type of badge. But its up to the community so

Part of the plan was to make people work hard to find them making the badges more prestigious

 

I see what you mean by adventuring to find them. Also you could possibly put it at spawn so its something like an end game extra for getting all the badges and proving your worth against the toughest in the Pokemon universe, like in the game. Although i don't know how you would set it up so only people who have beaten and found all the gyms can enter but it could be a good addition. Probably be best to have it unlocked when you find it but i dont know how to do such a thing

 

The issue with that would be people selling warps to gyms but I kinda like the idea @LucidTheStick we may have to see what you can do with skripts

 

maybe an order based system where you have to do them in order

 

We have discussed setting that up with pressureplates that register whether or not you have a badge inorder to continue maybe leaving the first of each generation at spawn to get you started

 

well that could work just have to be careful with multiple people crossing the pad

Thats sounds fun the only part is that pixelmon is almost always empty xD i don't like to play when there is no one

Welp i always wanted a safary area with a amount of set time lol with tons of safary balls if there are on the pack xD

Well it would since we now get money you would pay let say 500 per entrance and you will get let say 10 or 25 minutes to catch as many pokemons as you can. i think having spawner or some sorts of way to spawn then at a faster

 

Thats a good idea cus you may be able to catch Shinys like i have 1 and maybe we could get Wondertrade?

 

Ok julio, explain it to me as if I have never played a pokemon game in my life. Start with what it is and how it works, continue onto how we could make it work in a pixelmon setting.

 

Its literally like a zoo that has animals but in an open area where you can catch pokemon like the one in Pokemon Yellow i believe and instead of a timer maybe they could pay money for safari balls which are the only ones they can use in the area like the game

What would the price be for safari balls? and how many different pokemon should we put in that area?
