Criteria

Protectability: make sure it's small enough to protect
Design: Make it look nice.
Space: Enough space for all the mod items.
location: I prefer flat biomes.
Function: bonus points if you add wiring space/Piping area.
Materials and colour: i don't like bright colors
proximity to other houses: Don't situate the house near other houses.
shape: no cheap cubed or otherwise "squarish" houses.

i might add in more things if the house is really nice.

 

am i allowed to show a base in many screenshots?
